Bruxeeze Pro Extra
The Bruxeeze Pro Extra is a custom mouthguard that can be moulded for upper or lower teeth. It features a thickness of 3mm, making the Pro Extra an ideal guard for moderate-to-heavy bruxing (teeth-grinding). With a hard outer layer made from PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) and a soft inner layer made from EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), the Pro Extra offers an additional level of comfort when compared with its younger sibling, the Bruxeeze Pro.
The Pro Extra provides heavy-duty protection from the impact of teeth-grinding and clenching. It offers greater separation of your teeth than slimmer guards and can increase the length of time between guard replacements. The Pro Extra’s PETG design also gives the added bonus of a clear material look, offering a more discreet fit.
How It Works
How does the ordering process work?
The Bruxeeze Custom Fit process is simple.
No dental visits are needed. After placing your order, a dental impression kit will be posted to you. The kit will include trays for your teeth, and putty for you to take your own impression. We provide you with easy, step-by-step instructions that will walk you through the moulding process. As soon as you return your impression, we’ll immediately start to work on your custom guard.
Completed guards usually arrive within 10 working days.
Will my Night Guard cover all of my teeth?
Your Night Guard will extend to around your first molars. This is because your upper molars and wisdom teeth rarely meet their lower counterparts when grinding occurs (teeth grinding generally places pressure at the front of the mouth). Night guards that extend any further back can be uncomfortable and often trigger a gag reflex.
Precautions
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a sports mouthguard. The Bruxeeze Night Guard is designed to help with teeth grinding, not shock absorption.
Do not use if:
- You have severe jaw pain, loose teeth or advanced periodontal disease.
- You have full or partial dentures removed at night, leaving you with few teeth.
- You wear a retainer or have fixed braces.
- You are under 18 years old.
